ORTEA, A CRAFT ICED TEA.

Ortea has its roots in the Viennese forests. Coming home from a hike with our backpacks filled with nettles, we planned on cooking a nettle soup and the result was delicious. Curious about the qualities of this rather unpopular plant, it didn’t take long until nettle tea became an all-time favorite in our tea repertoire. Paired with the love for iced tea, the idea of Ortea was born.

Out of persuasion, it was clear from the start that the product’s identity must be built upon a sustainable framework. Hence why we use carefully selected organic ingredients, keep the supply chain short and brew Ortea ourselves in Luxembourg.

Friends of Ortea

One doesn't need many friends to be happy. They just have to be the right ones.

Kraider

Limited by the choice of organic tea producers in Luxembourg, our herbs come from Sonnentor in Austria. They make herbal teas in close contact with the farmers and set great value to transparency and respect to nature.

Hunneg

Quality honey and short supply chains. Joe Molitor, Georges Gidt and Jeannot Glodé share a great passion for their bees. Having direct contact with our suppliers is just great and enriching since we always have something to learn from their experience.

Äppeljus

Boskoop, Reinette and Rambour are only some of the kinds of apple growing in the orchards surrounding the Ferme du Klingelbour. From those apples they produce an organic apple juice of amazing quality.

Cassisjus

For three generations, Beutelsbacher has been cultivating fruits in the German Remstal. Actively promoting the preservation of orchard meadows in their region, they process various fruits into juice.
